Terms of Service
Welcome to Lobby, a live theater social app focused on New York City. Lobby is operated by Interactive Reality Labs, LLC ("Interactive Reality Labs," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Lobby, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Lobby. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep your profile information current.
You retain ownership of the reviews, lists, posts, replies, and other content you submit to Lobby ("your content"). By posting, you grant Lobby a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content within the app and on related Lobby surfaces, solely so we can operate and promote the service.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not use Lobby to post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights. Do not impersonate other people, scrape the app, abuse our systems, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or data. You can report content from any post, reply, review, list, or profile, and you can block other members directly. We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these rules.
Lobby respects the intellectual property of others and responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe content on Lobby infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@lobby.theater that identifies the work, identifies the infringing content and where it appears in the app, and includes your contact information and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized. We will remove or disable content we determine to be infringing, and we may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
We may suspend or terminate your account, or your access to the app, if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other members. You may stop using Lobby at any time and may delete your account from within the app. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses you have granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification — survive.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Interactive Reality Labs, LLC and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content or your use of Lobby in violation of these terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
Lobby is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lobby and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. We may update or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the app will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and Interactive Reality Labs, LLC regarding the app and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.

Privacy Policy
When you use Lobby, we collect the information you provide directly — your email address (or Apple / Google account identifier if you sign in with those providers), your display name, profile photo, bio, genre preferences, and the reviews, lists, posts, replies, and follows you create in the app. We also collect basic device and usage signals, such as app version and crash diagnostics, so we can keep the app running.
We use this information to operate the service: to authenticate you, show you content, personalize recommendations, surface activity from people you follow, and respond to support requests. Lobby does not sell user data to third parties, and we do not run targeted third-party advertising in the app.
Lobby relies on a small set of third-party services to operate. Supabase hosts our database, authentication, and serverless functions. Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront) hosts and delivers user-uploaded media such as profile photos. Resend sends transactional emails such as one-time sign-in codes. Apple and Google process sign-in when you choose those providers. These services receive only the data they need to perform their function and are subject to their own privacy practices.
Lobby is intended for people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us at legal@lobby.theater.
You have rights over your personal information. You can review and edit your profile from Settings at any time, and you can delete your account from within the app via Settings → Delete Account, which removes your profile, reviews, lists, posts, replies, follows, and uploaded media from Lobby. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, or to object to certain processing; you can exercise these by contacting us at legal@lobby.theater, and you may have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. After deletion, residual copies may persist in encrypted backups and are cleared on our normal backup rotation. Questions about this policy can be sent to legal@lobby.theater.
